Fuel The Arts Expo Raises Funds for Art Supplies
for After School Programs!
IN March 2013, At the Fuel the Arts Expo, held at the Ramada Inn, Lewiston. Gaskyl Productions & Ink Maine owner Kris Howes collected piles of Artwork from local Artists & Tattooists. All the Art was raffled & Auctioned off to raise funds for the Benefit. Also, live Art Fusion was done with 5 easles and Artists switching easels every song to make Art Collaborations. That Art was also sold & auctioned off.
In the end, Gaskyl Production met with Craft Mania in Auburn, and together managed to donate over $600 in Art Supplies to 3 Afterschool Progrmas in the local Ares. Boys & Girls Club of Lewiston, The Merobi Afterschool Program, & Rumford Elementary School.
March of 2014 we will be doing this same process with even more Live Art activities & fun to be had by all!
